Use of the riboflavin synthase gene (ribC) as a model for development of an essential gene disruption and complementation system for haemophilus influenzae
Article Abstract:
The system to speedily and reliably evaluate the gene in Haemophilus influenzae is updated with riboflavin synthase gene (ribC), which forms a part of the riboflavin biosynthetic route. The outcome indicated the importance of ribC for the existence of Haemophilus influenzae Rd strain KW20 and also displayed that a balanced copy of ribC, which is brought under, the supervision of ompP1 promoter turns around the lethal phenotype of a strain with ribC deleted.

Novel polyketide synthase from nectria haematrococca
Article Abstract:
A polykitide synthase (PKS) gene is identified from a strain of nextria haematococca by complete menting a mutant unable to synthesize a red perithecial pigment, pksN encodes a 2,106-amino-acid polypeptide with conserved motifs characteristic of type I PKS enzymatic domains. It is proposed that pksN encodes a novel PKS required for the perithecial red pigment biosynthesis.

Identification of bacterial populations in diary wastewaters by use of 16S rRNA gene sequences and other genetic markers
Article Abstract:
The detailed information is not available about the bacterial population, which is present in these ecosystems, and also about how their community structures move in the wastewater treatment systems. In fact the operational taxonomic unit (OTU) is present with the 16S rDNA ranging from 97 to 100 percent and is identical to eubacterium tenue.
