ASIC v. the brokers

The Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) is considering imposing rules on the stockbrokers in the lines of those in the USA and Europe. The provisions will ensure the independence of the brokersE research analyst thereby curtailing tainted stock broking. The practical implementation of the ASIC rules is discussed.
