Article Abstract:
Adaptive management systems increase production output and provide ample information while limiting human communication and coordination in both centralized and decentralized organizations. Intelligent agents and structural self-design are used in presenting a conceptual, prototypical and simulation model of adaptive management systems. Agent-based architectures can help in the automation of communication and coordination among processes and organizations to accomplish the processing of a job.

Development and measurement validity of a task-technology fit instrument for user evaluations of information systems
Article Abstract:
A task-technology fit (TTF) instrument was formulated to assess the extent an organization's information systems and services satisfy its managers' information requirements. The instrument, which is based on task-technology fit theory, is governed by a task model related to managerial decision making that utilize recorded organizational information. Data obtained from a sample of 357 users in 10 firms revealed that the instrument is highly reliable and valid for 12 dimensions of TTF.

Group Support Systems, power, and influence in an organization: a field study
Article Abstract:
Group support systems were found to have a significant managerial and social implication in a business organization in that it allows the 'power' or decision making ability to be spread to many members of the organization. Group support systems were found to significantly increase access to persons and information that imbue power in an organization and provides a significant venue for the influence of the decision making process.
