Australian export firms and Australian investors with dealings in Asia will certainly be affected by the financial woes in Asia. Growth in Asia will also be affected, which, in turn, will affect Australian firms. Over 16% of Australian exports are targeted for South-East Asia. Many infrastructure plans in Asia supported by Australians have been shelved during the crisis.
