Big stores dominate Christmas online
Article Abstract:
Six of the ten most popular online shopping sites in Australia for Christmas 2000 were those of established retailers, including Harris Scarfe's dstore and Coles Myer's Myer Direct. Although Christmas 2000 retail sales were down from the previous year, the online retail market had Australian sales of $320 million, which was up from Christmas 1999's $150 million.
