Allied Domecq has obtained the U.S. distribution rights to Stolichnaya vodka. Diageo has been the U.S. since 1994. Allied plans to spend up to $25 mil to promote Stoli. Its chief rival, Absolute, has a market share of 64%, against Stolichnaya's 18%.
