Business Innovation in the UK
Article Abstract:
Businesses in the current economy experience a slow down in the rate of increase. Innovative industries, however, seem to prosper in spite of unfavorable economic conditions. Several strategic options are discussed including new business development (NBD) and venture management. A framework for NBD is presented and a case study analyzed. Lessons can be learned by any company considering diversification. NBD can be expensive and needs good, quick thinking administrators.
