Modelling resource allocation in a decentralized organization with an AI-based, goal-directive model
Article Abstract:
An analysis describing models of resource allocation is presented. The models integrate three artificial intelligence (AI) techniques into the allocation process. The filtered beam search, the world model and the blackboard model all generate benefits, which include the possibility of analyzing various managerial control mechanisms, a better description of true information flow and presentation of problems with more realistic conditions.

The emergence of artificial intelligence as a reference discipline for decision support systems research
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to examine the role of artificial intelligence in decision support systems research. The study considers philosophical and pragmatical issues related to the adoption of the intelligence system as a reference point for decision support systems analysis. The case of the journal of Decision Sciences shows that an integration between the two fields of information management is possible.
