The motor vehicle retailing and services sector, especially the car sales, in Australia have grown stronger in 2003 and the revenue has increased from 7.6 percent to 11.4 billion Dollars. Super Cheap Auto, Pacific Ford, Pacific Toyota, Motorama Holdings and Mistearl (Northshore) are some of the fastest-growing companies in the motor vehicle sector.

The booming Australian car market notwithstanding, some companies like Daewoo have announced plans to withdraw their brands from Australia. The price competition in the small cars market, which is affecting the margins, is the culprit.
