Insurer studies purchase of firms
Article Abstract:
Tony Killen, group managing director of National Mutual, would like to use an accounting firm as a distribution method for financial products and contacted Count Wealth Accountants in January 1999 as a possible purchase. Count Wealth discounted the overture and has been planning for a mid-October 1999 trade sale or float. The float would be valued at about $100 million.
