Computer simulation success: on the use of the end-user computing satisfaction
Article Abstract:
The end-user computing satisfaction (EUCS) instrument envisioned by Doll and Torkzadeh has been proven to be a highly reliable tool of gauging computer simulation success. Such an EUCS model features high psychometric stability which is necessary in evaluating independent variables and establishing correlations with success. This is made possible by evaluating the overall EUCS construct in the context of content, accuracy, format, ease of use and timeliness.

Animation in user interfaces designed for decision support systems: the effects of image abstraction, transition, and interactivity on decision quality
Article Abstract:
The effectivity of using animation to in the user interfaces for decision support systems was found to be governed by the parallel navigation interactivity aspects of the program, while image abstraction was found to be a function of the task's level of difficulty. The navigation interactivity characteristics of the program is more significant in effecting better decision quality, since this affects the presentation of data for analysis.
