Creative thinking ability, cognitive type and R&D performance
Article Abstract:
A relationship was observed between creative thinking ability and cognitive type and research and development (R&D) performance. However, the pattern of relationship observed between cognitive type and R&D performance differs from the relationship pattern observed between creative thinking and R&D performance. A low but positive correlation was noted between creativity and the first-authored paper and the technical report. On the other hand, the cognitive type was found to be associated with the performance rating and the first-authored service project assignment.
