Article Abstract:
There is a strong link between customer service, revenue and profit, and there are three key elements of effective customer service, namely leadership, skilled staff and good support systems. When Singapore Airlines installed its new seating at a cost of $US 200 million, it avoided problems of seats being too narrow and other problems, however, the payoff resulted into passenger growth rates above industry average.
