Article Abstract:
Studies have shown that good facility design enhances whitecollar productivity. The cost factors involved in constructing a well designed office are usually negligible. The factors that employees wanted to be considered as part of office design included good lighting, comfortable chairs, comfortable heating and cooling and adequate privacy. Planning for an adequate office is important to the outcome. The factors to consider when designing an office are charted.
