Determinants and impacts of environmental performance in SMEs
Article Abstract:
Evidence from 368 environmentally responsible small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in four industries is examined. The outcomes show that a firm's environmental performance cannot be viewed as a one-dimensional concept and the impact that a firm's environmental performance has on its creativity and competitiveness depends upon the industry with which it operates.
