Determinants of capital structure of Chinese-listed companies
Article Abstract:
The determinants of capital structure of Chinese-listed companies are examined by using firm-level panel data. The findings show the transitional nature of the Chinese corporate environment and also indicate that the capital choice decision of the Chinese firms follow a new pecking order, like retained profit, equity and long-term debt, which are the factors that influence the firms' leverage decision.
