Faint signs of another rate cut
Article Abstract:
The Reserve Bank of Australia has three choices of how to boost the current inflation rate of below 2% to its goal rate of 2% to 3%. 1) Do nothing and allow the economy to change. 2) Lower its inflation target rate to 0-2% or 1-2% to justify the current rate. 3) Ease monetary policy by cutting the cash rate.
