Office-paper firms pursue elusive goal: brand loyalty
Article Abstract:
The major US office-paper companies, which have been suffering from declining profits due to the growing Asian economic crisis, are attempting to create brand loyalty among customers. Industry analysts, which have said that US sales in the office-paper industry are projected to reach $9.23 billion in 1998, report that three of the five leading paper makers are redesigning their marketing approach for the small-office and home-office market, which is projected to have about $1.32 billion in 1998 sales.
