Article Abstract:
While the Mexican government has made some gains in recent months their economy is still shakey. The peso appears to still be qualified for devaluation on a fairly regular basis. By rescheduling foreign debt payments, Mexico has deferred, not cleared, deep-seated financial problems. Investors in Mexico are warned that they should keep their attention on government restrictions.
