Problem-based learning: potential and implementation issues
Article Abstract:
Recent research has looked at the positive role of problem-based learning in education, and has also considered its implications for teachers and pupils. It was found that this approach to learning aligns itself well with the natural process of learning, and that it can encourage pupils to take responsibility for their own learning. It gives pupils the ability to apply knowledge and skills at later stages in their lives.
