FBI in standoff with Montana antitax group: two 'Freemen' leaders arrested

The FBI arrested Freemen leaders LeRoy Schweitzer and Daniel E. Petersen on Mar 25, 1996, and charged them with making death threats. That incident began a standoff between about 20 Freemen members and federal authorities, near Jordan, Montana. The anti-government group refuses to leave its farm.
