Emerging business education programmes in China
Article Abstract:
Many western concerns are now establishing a presence in China, but they still lack managers who have knowledge of the competitive western market and who can also operate effectively within China's political, cultural and economic structures. This has prompted the Chinese government, businesses and higher education establishments to look at how management training can be improved. There has been a shift towards western-style business programmes covering management, marketing, accounting and finance over the last few years, and many Chinese managers have gone to the US for training.
