Evolution from quality management to an integrative system in modern business

Total quality management can be internalized as an integrative corporate system to improve performance. Integration should take place between the fundamental processes of product engineering, logistics, risk control, innovation, auditing and environmental management. Quality procedures should target requirement compliance, results, validation and assessment documentation.

Critical factors for the implementation of total quality management in Italy: an empirical analysis
Article Abstract:
The adoption of total quality management processes in Italian corporations is dependent on several factors. These include executive commitment, statistical methodologies, customer satisfaction, training and an open organizational structure. Less important factors include employee involvement, co-makership, benchmarking and flexible manufacturing.
