The mid-tier accounting company, Hayes Knight, is the first company to take advantage of Prime Minister, John Howard's call to partner Austrade, the Federal Government's export advisory service to help companies export their services or products. Hayes Knight will tutor companies on different ways to export and will conduct workshops for accountants who can in turn help their clients or their companies understand the nuances of exporting.

Demand for audit training soars

Accounting firms in Australia are beginning to offer training services for corporate governance issues. Large corporations may be required to have audit committees in the near future, and training for committee members could help them with their responsibilities.
