Focused foursome tackle travel

The Internet Travel Group, a result of a merger of four companies, offers corporate travel services and has a software system that allows clients to book and pay for travel online. Phillip Weinman, then with CTS Travel, and Leslie Lofthouse, with Internet Travel Group, were both looking for travel software, and Lofthouse ended up writing her own in two years at the expense of $2 million. The merged company is expected to have annual sales of $335 million. Internet Travel Group plans to expand to the international travel and leisure markets.
