Organisational competence and the 'boiling frog' syndrome
Article Abstract:
Current literature on management theory tends to focus on the competency of individuals at the expense of organisational competencies. Organisations should put a greater degree of emphasis on making sure that their own competencies support the enhancement of individual competencies, with one way of doing this being by sticking to the "good employer" principle.

Crossing the Great Divide: integrating knowledge management and organisational learning
Article Abstract:
An analysis of why organisational learning and knowledge management need to be integrated as key processes within organisations. It is argued that there are clear common elements between the two issues and that in the face of rapid social, economic and workplace changes, organisations need to address the integration of the two fields.
