The stocks across the world defied all logics and rose to unprecedented heights in the recent past. The jolt received on March 18, 2005 is the first sign of the times to come. Stock markets have little to offer to speculators who might be anticipating another crest after the recent fall in stock prices. Analysis of investment in the shares of Blackmores and PerlinX is also presented.

The stockmarket in Australia has shown no clear direction in the month of April and May 2003, instead it is moving sideways and providing little excitement. It is advised that the risk is on the downside because the prevailing long-term trend is down.
