Information-processing demands and the multinational enterprise: A comparison of foreign and domestic earnings estimates
Article Abstract:
The information-processing demands dealt with by top managers of the multinational enterprise (MNE) in their portfolio of international operations are examined by comparing the accuracy of foreign and domestic earning estimates. It is found that information-processing demands are greater in foreign operations for managers of smaller multinational firms, firms with relatively low performance, and firms with low levels of intangible assets.
