A two-factor, preference-free model for interest rate sensitive claims
Article Abstract:
The derivation of a model for measuring the behavior of interest rate claims that assumes the absence of preferences and the presence of two principal variables is presented. The preference-free property is premised on the ability to determine the bond price distribution. The two-factor model is considered a more complex form of the traditional one-factor model and has the advantage of being able to describe the interest term structure in a more detailed manner. Furthermore, the proposed model is equally simple to use.
