Mercedes-Benz of North America consolidates its $125 million account at Omnicom Group

Mercedes-Benz of North America chose Merkley Newman Harty, an Omnicom Group ad agency in New York, to handle its $125 million luxury car account that was taken away from Interpublic's Lowe Group. Close geographic proximity was only part of the decision. The new agency hopes there will be no conflict of interest issue with the fact that it handles the account for BMW motorcycles.

Abercrombie & Fitch have a new TV campaign for their clothes line. They are taking the print ad of college kids in Europe and transferring it to television. It seems to be that hottest ad campaign yet.
