Japanese giant to list

The Japanese technology multi-national NEC plans a stock market listing in Australia given the green light to float worth more than $100 million before the end of 2004 thus showing renewed confidence in the Australian technology market. A number of other foreign investors are also planning to similarly invest and Alphawest, a computer integration company, plans a back-door listing through AIS Corporation.
