Job insecurity and employee commitment: managers' reactions to the threat and outcomes of redundancy selection
Article Abstract:
Managers do not develop loyalty to their employers if they have previously been demoted or made redundant from another organisation. Many people fail to trust their organisation because they do not feel secure in their career and employment. Managers who have kept their jobs amidst cost-cutting exercises have rapidly resumed their organisational committment.

On strategy, typologies and the adoption of technological innovations in industrial markets
Article Abstract:
The central roles of organizational strategy and technological innovation in industrial companies are investigated. The diverse effects that innovation may have on competitive strategies are discussed. It is suggested that strategy is one of several factors that influence the timing of the adoption of technological innovations.
