Leadership, quality and health: using Mcgregor's X and Y theory for analyzing values in relation to methodologies and outcomes
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to examine patterns in leadership values and methodologies associated with views of subordinates on leadership, health outcomes, and quality aspects. Four public and four private companies in Sweden were used in the study. McGregor's theory X and theory Y were used as hypotheses. Findings show that leaders with more X hypotheses get lower results in terms of employee-judged leadership.

Relationship between organizational commitment and EFQM business excellence model: a study on Turkish quality award winners
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to determine the relationship between organizational commitment and an excellence model. A survey containing Meyer & Allen's Organizational Commitment scale and European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Criteria was applied to Turkish Quality Awards winners' employees in 2004. The determinants of organizational commitment and EFQM Excellence Model are also presented.
