Learning-by-Doing and Market Performance
Article Abstract:
The effects of learning-by-doing on production technology are examined. Output increases over time from experience in monopolies, oligopolies and socially planned markets. The monopolist learns too slowly. Incentives can be used to produce decreasing outputs. Increased learning improves welfare.

Learning to innovate
Article Abstract:
Organizational learning capability (OLC) is dependent on experimentation, risk taking, interaction with the external environment, dialogue, and participative decision making. An increase in OLC is very likely to effect an increase in innovation.
