Liability of foreignness and entry mode choice: Taiwanese firms in Europe
Article Abstract:
The wholly owned subsidiary market entry mode is shown to be effective in developing and maintaining local relationships, using Taiwanese firms in Europe as an illustration. Inter-firm linkages boosted new capabilities; intra-firm linkages boosted the exploitation of firm-specific capabilities.
