A review of the performance of small mineral and fuel companies of Australia is presented. It is observed that the sales to the Asian countries played a major role in the success of most of these small metals and minerals companies. Demand from China was a major contributor to the growth and takeovers in the sector. Future trends for this sector are forecasted.
