Tabcorp bets on China

Australia based gaming company Tabcorp is entering into a joint venture with a Hong Kong based WorldMetal Holdings. The joint venture will try to enter the Chinese gaming market. Chinese are becoming affluent by day and have an inherent love for gambling. This combined with the size of population portends a bright future for the gambling industry in that country. However, there are some policy hassles with Tabcorp will have to take into account.

Thirty-six of the biggest Australian companies operating in China are manufactures as there is wide scope available for them to endure growth and succeed.
