Magazine fund gears up for business
Article Abstract:
Issues concerning efforts by the Canadian magazine industry to protect itself from foreign and, particularly, US, magazines carrying advertisements directed at Canadians, are examined. Topics include Canadian Bill C-55, which allows increased access by foreign magazines into the Canadian market, and the establishment of a $150 mil Canada Magazine Fund to protect Canadian magazines.
