The ways to reduce bad-debt days in advance by making clients pay who are behind in their payments, thus solving the cash flow crisis in businesses in January and February as these are being slow months for sales are described. Some of them include talking about fees at the start of a project, being clear on all payment terms, verifying clientsE capacity to pay, sending timely bills on completion of work and understanding the business cycles of clients are highlighted.

The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) gives importance to improve its communication with tax agents by introducing new telephone and online communications channels. The ATO wants to upgrade its electronic contact and increase personal contact within agents. The ATO will upgrade its telephone system, improve its Internet technology, and will employ 200 additional staff in its call center.
