The need to manage time effectively by the senior executives to enable them to set aside time to think about and plan the long term goals of their businesses, is discussed. The Managing Director of the Management Consultant Harris Smith& Associates feels that senior managers have to forget the habits that made them effective junior managers and e-mails should be controlled to make sure that they do not take up too much time.
