A 1994 antitrust settlement between Microsoft Corp and the Justice Dept was upheld in a ruling issued on Aug 21, 1995. The Justice Dept had begun a probe into Microsoft's dominance of the operating system market in 1993. An investigation of anticompetitive behavior related to Windows 95 continues.

Three charged in bond kickback scheme
Article Abstract:
Joseph Salema, an aide to former New Jersey Gov Jim Florio, pleaded guilty on Feb 23, 1995, to concealing a payment he received from First Fidelity Bank for Salema's help in arranging a municipal bond deal. The other two men charged in the matter are Nicholas A Rudi and George L Tuttle Jr.
