Miners see light in the Internet
Article Abstract:
Financially-strapped junior mining industry companies are seeking profits by reinventing themselves and listing as Internet stocks. Regulators, such as the Australian Stock Exchange Ltd. and Australian Securities and Investments Commission, have warned investors that mining companies were not fully complying with regulations. Low commodity prices and excitement for the Internet has created many such new companies. Many companies, like Mogul Mining, who plans to buy an Internet wine service, have seen share prices at least double.

The full-service site for the retail investor will include more products at lower fees. Your Prosperity has a staff of about 35 and manages around 100 different funds. There are 150,000 online investors in Australia, according to a Lend Lease estimate.
