Kenichi Ahmae, a former management consultant with McKinsey & Company of Japan, believes that increasing globalization will manifest in a revolutionary dominance of international commerce and finance. National governments are both necessary and burdensome. Ahmae says Australia is ideally positioned in the global economy, noting its ability to add intellectual value and its use of English, the leading Internet language.
