One man's crusade against cancer
Article Abstract:
Michael Wayte, a former cancer patient and founder of the Oncology Research International Ltd., has attracted the interest of cancer research organizations--and skeptics--in his search for the cause and cure of his own cancer. Wayte has isolated molecules from plant extracts, and experimentation has been largely successful. Detractors claim he is too obsessed with his own recovery and treats the research as a business enterprise. He is seeking an additional $2 million for human testing. Negotiations with potential investors are underway.
