Internet gambling is growing in Australia, and online gaming company eBet is now the largest agency of the the New Zealand Totalisator Agency Board (TAB). eBet is likely making more than $NZ250,000 a week from TAB customers. TAB customers are making 10,000 transactions a week through the eBet site. In 1Q 1999, eBet growth increased by 64%. eBet plans to list on the Australian Stock Exchange in July 1999.
