Mergers reach a new level

Corporations are always faced with the problem of how to build key skills to improve performance. It is reported that they can improve performance incrementally, or try to fill the gap quickly by merging with businesses that have most of what they need. Most companies mix both strategies.

The need to become more efficient and less complex and to attract more corporate revenue prompted the three charitable organizations in service of the blind, viz, Royal Blind society of New South Wales, the Royal Victorian Institute and Vision Australia to go for a merger.
