Paris subway train bomb injures 29; Algerian group threatens terror escalation
Article Abstract:
French authorities believe the Armed Islamic Group (AIG) is responsible for the Oct 17, 1995, subway bombing which injured 29 commuters. The bomb was the latest in a series of attacks waged by Islamic terrorists since Jul 25, 1995. AIG is trying to pressure France into discontinuing ties to Algeria.

300 injured in Yokohama gas attack

Japanese authorities do not know what group is responsible for the phosgene gas attack in the subway system in Yokohama, Japan, on Apr 19, 1995. The Aum Shinrikyo cult is suspect because of a similar nerve gas attack in Mar 1995 in Tokyo subways.
