Turning survivors into winners
Article Abstract:
Managers will see very positive results if they put a lot of effort into managing and supporting the survivors of organisational change. If they fail to do so, then staff trust could be lost and productivity may be negatively affected. It is important to recognise the feelings that the survivors may be experiencing, such as guilt that they have kept their job when others have been made redundant, and steps should be taken to build up the survivors' self-confidence again.
