Places and Spaces: The Role of Metonymy in Organizational Talk
Article Abstract:
Assumptions inherent in organizational communication are examined using metonymy, or figures of speech. The study reveals how cultural meaning and norms are maintained, reflected, transferred, and potentially changed in organizational communication, and how they in turn can challenge, confirm, or change the organization itself.

A multi-theoretical model of knowledge transfer in organizations: determinants of knowledge contribution and knowledge reuse
Article Abstract:
A study examining the effectiveness of intra-firm knowledge transfer based on the current knowledge as well as on two key factors, is presented. These two factors are willingness of employees to use the existing knowledge and to build upon it.
