Putting a virtual doggy in your window
Article Abstract:
PF Magic will release new CD-ROMs for Windows 95 in October: Dogz 3 and Catz 3. They will run $29.95 each. The upgrades promise to deliver the most adorable pets yet that will have the new owners eating out of the dogs' hands rather than the other way around. The virtual pets made from zeros and ones seem intelligent, playful, emotional (but only in a good way), and allegedly can bring joy to the desktop where there was none before. There is no mention of Petz for Macs.
Comment:
Prospective virtual pet owners have to wait until October for Dogz 3 and Catz 3 CD-ROMs

E-Commerce reports; many Internet companies have focused on attracting customers. The bigger challenge is fulfilling orders
Article Abstract:
Online retailers are not having problems selling their products, but they are having problems shipping them to customer on time. The inability to ship to customers can have a huge impact on how customers perceive online services. Online retailers often have problems shipping because they contract their shipping services out to distributors and the distributors are not wired to the online retailers inventory.
